Welcome Students!

Below you'll find downloadable documents required for students of The Pointe School of Ministry. The forms found in the column on the left are to be completed and turned in after completing the application process and prior to starting your first course. The Pointe Staff may require you to re-submit any of these forms at any time. The resources found in the column on the right are to be read by any student accepted through the application process, and understood completely before filling out and submitting the Student Contract form listed below.

Forms

Background Check

A background check is required from every student regardless without any form of discrimination. We want to establish a full level of accountability with every student no matter what.

DISC Test

The DISC Personality Test is used to help each student understand a snapshot of the raw nature of their personality which will help their interaction with others in the school and in ministry.

Values Style Profile

The Values Style Profile packet is designed to help give each student a snapshot view of how they naturally respond to life situations which will help their interaction with others in the school and in ministry

Weekly Schedule

Our Weekly Schedule form is meant to help students see how they use their time in an average week. Mark down hours required for work, school, church, personal time, etc...

Priority List

The Priority List form is to help students gain a better understanding of how they use the time that they have.  Write down anything and everything in your life in the left column, then rank them in order on the right - not based on what's more important necessarily, but based on what would require the most attention in times of stress or busyness.

Monthly Budget

The Monthly Budget form is used to give each student a realistic view of where their money goes each month, and will also help them determine the affordability of enrolling in classes at The Pointe.

Active Goals

This form about Active Goals is designed to help each student reflect on what goals they have yet to start, what they have actually started, and goals they have completed.  Re-use this form as often as possible to keep track of how well you manage your goals.

Student Contract

Every student must complete the Student Contract form to acknowledge their understanding of everything required of them while enrolled at The Pointe School of Ministry.

Training Application

For students who want to do more than just take classes and wish to engage in real life training and experience, they are required to complete and turn in this Training Application before starting their first course.

Reference Forms

Students applying for training and experience must have two (2) separate people each fill out one of these forms and turn them in to the office at CrossPointe Church.

Resources

List of Books & Materials

Use our List of Books & Materials to understand what textbooks and other materials or resources are required for each course. Examine which courses you desire to take in advance using the Academic Calendar so that you can purchase and obtain all of your books and materials on time for the start of each course.  Not obtaining books or materials on time will not be an acceptable excuse for late or missing work. While some books may be available for checkout at our school library, we desire every student to purchase their own materials in order to create their own personal library of resources to aid in their life of ministry.

Student Manual

Every student is required to obtain, read and fully understand what is written within our Student Manual.  Students are expected to abide by the standards and guidelines of ministry, leadership, and personal lifestyle as laid out in this manual, and must acknowledge their willingness to do so through signing the Student Contract form prior to starting their first course.

CrossPointe Community Church Bylaws

Since The Pointe School of Ministry is a spiritual extension of the ministry efforts of CrossPointe Community Church, students are required to read these Bylaws as a means to understand the depths of the beliefs and values of the church so that they can understand the level of Spiritual Authority they are submitting to by enrolling in this school, and must acknowledge their willingness to do so through signing the Student Contract form prior to starting their first course.. This will also be a valuable aid for students desiring to gain training and experience through CrossPointe by understanding the church structure that governs the vision and avenues of our ministry.

Minister's Code of Ethical Conduct

According to the Bylaws of CrossPointe Church, anyone licensed through the church as a pastor must read and adhere to the expectations found in the Minister's Code of Ethical Conduct. Since The Pointe is designed to train students to become ministers themselves, we require each student to read, understand and agree to this document ahead of time in order to begin living it out as soon as possible, and they must acknowledge their willingness to do so through signing the Student Contract form prior to starting their first course.
