We are excited to be a part of a church that raises up spiritual leaders and pastors, and we know there is a great responsibility in supporting pastors and and church leadership.

Schedule

Classes meet on Sunday afternoon with practical training during weekend services and throughout the week depending on the student's schedule. The school has a one year or two year option and runs from September to the end of May the following year.

Classes

Classes range across a wide variety of topics including Biblical studies, pastoral care, counseling, and sermon preparation. Each ministry track also has track-specific classes to further develop the relevant skills for that area of ministry.

Experience

Hands-on ministry experience includes involvement in Sunday services to serving and leading in various areas throughout the week. Each person's schedule and ministry track is taken into account when determining practical ministry expectations.

Tuition

The cost of tuition for One Chapel College is $2,000 per year ($1,850 if paid in full). A class retreat and travel to the annual ARC Conference is included in this cost. For second-year students this cost includes the cost of a mission trip to Mexico. Students cover the costs of their own books.

If you choose to pay tuition in installments, equal payments of $500.00 are due on the following dates:

  • September 1

  • December 1

  • March 1

  • June 1

Pastoral Licensing

One Chapel College works side-by-side with One Chapel to give students the opportunity to become licensed ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Students must complete two full years of One Chapel College to be eligible for licensing. Though these components are mandatory for licensing, the completion of these components does not guarantee the licensing of the candidate. The partnership with One Chapel allows the candidate to apply for licensure, which includes being interviewed by the Pastoral Leadership Team, who ultimately have the final authority in the licensing of each candidate.

One Chapel College is a ministry school that uses a classroom-based program alongside practical ministry experience to teach students how to bring change to their workplaces and churches.

Is One Chapel College Accredited?

No, One Chapel College is not yet an accredited school. The purpose of One Chapel College is to raise up spiritual leaders who will bring change to their families, churches, and communities. We feel we can successfully accomplish that purpose without pursuing accreditation.

Can I have a job while attending One Chapel College?

Yes! Since most One Chapel College students work full-time jobs, the opportunity to be a part of One Chapel College is manageable.

Is housing provided?

Our desire at One Chapel College is to provide you with an amazing year of growth and learning, while maintaining an affordable cost. In order to keep tuition costs at a minimum, One Chapel College will not provide housing for students. Most of our students are already located in the Austin area. Non-local students often choose to live with family, if they have family in the Austin area, or with friends who are able to host them.
